Born in Vila Nova de Famalicão, on October 1986.

He received his 1st honorable mention in “Literária 1999” competition, promoted by Editorial Caminho. He studied arts at ESCCB and soon became a member of the jury in several film and fine arts competitions for young people.

He was a jury member at Famafest” (2008), “CineEco” (2008) and “Movie in Action” (2012) film festivals, after attending training courses on Documentary Film and Portuguese Film History.

He finished the Master’s in Civil Engineering at FEUP (Porto), including several training courses of the same work area. In 2012 and 2013 he joined and completed two photography workshops at the Portuguese Institute of Photography and the Contemporary Academy of Show-business.

He won in 2009 the “Young Fiction Film” and “Short-film” awards, with “Dark Hymn”, and the “Audience” award, with "The Devil’s Business”. In 2014 he was a finalist at the portuguese photography award Cais|BES.

He co-founded in 2012 the activist group cineBatalha, which integrated the organizational core of Cineclube do Porto since 2013. He also collaborates with “Entrar em Palco” cultural association on several film, video, theatre and television productions.
